What is Atelier Homeschool Art?
Atelier is an online, video-based art curriculum featuring 8 levels, each providing a full year of visual art instruction. Kids learn foundational skills—line, color, space, shape, form, texture, pattern, balance, emphasis—while exploring art history, creative expression, multicultural art, media exploration, and right-brain drawing techniques.
Who is Atelier Homeschool Art designed for?
Atelier is built for homeschool families, co-op groups, and independent-study charter schools. Each level is easy to teach, visually modeled, and flexible enough to work with single students, siblings, or multi-age groups learning together.

Each level includes a detailed materials list with affordable, easy-to-find supplies.
Prefer convenience? Atelier offers Art Supply Kits that include everything you need—paper, paints, brushes, chalk, glue, crayons, and more.
Can multiple ages learn together?
Absolutely. Atelier is designed to combine easily for siblings and co-op groups. The visual teaching style makes it engaging for a wide range of learners. Ask about Enriched Family Packages.
What art history resources are available?
Every Atelier level comes with access to the Great Masters Virtual Museum — a digital mini-museum featuring high-resolution artworks, artist bios, historical context, curriculum connections, and creative extension activities.
If you prefer something hands-on, you can also add Art Print Kits: ten 8"×10" fine-art prints with discussion guides, artist background, curriculum connections, and activity ideas. They’re perfect for portfolios, wall displays, and co-op enrichment.

Using the Atelier program, our co-op is able to teach 15-20 children at a time. Since the video does the teaching for us, we are available to assist the children without missing a beat. It's wonderful!

Atelier is the BEST homeschooling online art curriculum out there. I've looked at and bought a few, but this one exceeds all my expectations. It can even turn a non-artistic child into one who loves art. It's online art curriculum, so your children actually watch the art teacher demonstrate the lesson, and observe as the children in her class do the project. It's a great way to expose children to the fact that not everyone does art the same way, and it's okay to have your own style. They also have art appreciation, artist study, and lots of great kids art projects. It's wonderful!
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have been homeschooling for 15 years (I have eight children) and art always went by the wayside because I had no idea how to teach it. You have solved all those problems. I am no making a point to do art with the children, and they love it. I have never been an 'art' person before but this as been really fun for me.
